Kurt and I were hit by a drunk driver in Thornton, Co on April 10. Kurt was driving my car. The guy was going 50 mph and T-boned us. My car is totaled. I have 5 fractures to my pelvis and Kurt's sternum, ribs, and collar bone are shattered plus he has a punctured lung. None of these injuries can be set - they take about 3 months to heal. Neither of us can work for the next 3 months. I don't have a vehicle to drive when I can drive. We do have an attorney working on our case and hopefully we will get a settlement at the end of it, but we need to get by until we can start working again.
