Hi! My name is Kalyn, and I’m a zoologist specializing in herpetology. I have multiple lizards, one of which being my 1 year old bearded dragon apricot. Earlier today while I was letting apricot free roam, he ended up bolting for a penny and ate it before I could stop him. Since it’s Memorial Day and all of the normal exotics vets are closed I had to go to an emergency vet, causing the price of what would normally be around $900 to remove the penny to become around $1400-$1600. I’d really appreciate any help paying for his care, as he’s a dragon that I’ve been training since he was a month old, and is the sweetest. I originally got him from a friend who accidentally bred him, and he had a kinked tail that I’ve already had operated on to amputate to prevent necrosis. All funds will go towards his bills and care.
