Momo's Leg Amputation Bill
Momo is only a few months old, but life has been against her from the start. My family took her in as a feral kitten after her mother stopped nursing her. We bottle fed her and did everything we could to bring her back up to health.
Early on, I noticed she would constantly shake and struggled to walk with her back legs. My suspicions were later confirmed that she has cerebellar hypoplasia, otherwise known as Wobbly Cat Syndrome. Momo never let that stop her from wanting to play and be cuddled by her human family.
Recently, she started struggling moreso than she did before. After a visit to Middletown Animal Clinic, the vet determined that her leg will need amputated. She doesn't act like she's in pain, but we worry about the additional struggle top of having cerebellar hypoplasia and cataracts. That's why we thought to ask for help, so that we can get her treated and rehabilitated as quickly as possible.
We ask you from the bottom of our hearts to contribute what you can or to share this gofundme so that we can continue the fight of giving Momo the life she deserves.
Thank you from both the Hoy and Shoemaker families.
