Hi, my name is Christina and I'm fundraising for my brother-in-law.

Scott Serio, a loving husband, father, and family man has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. What he thought was a trip to the ER for a "hernia pain" turned out to be stage 4 pancreatic cancer. After being hospitalized for several days and having many exams and studies it's unfortunate to confirm that it is Pancreatic cancer. We've also been informed that a liver biopsy is necessary due to 2 spots on it.

It is unlike my brother-in-law and sister to ask for help especially economically. After being discharged from the hospital Scott was planning to return to work and take it day by day, but it's becoming more difficult for him as he is experiencing a lot of pain. With rent and food being so expensive and now medical bills and medication being part of the struggle, it is hard for them to keep up with only my sister working.

If you know anything about pancreatic cancer, you will know this journey will be a difficult one. We hope that our friends, family, and community will come together in these hard times. Scott's family should be focusing on his health, not bills.
