Apple a Day NYC

Hi! I am Jayde Donovan, founder of the non-profit Apple a Day Program.  We are a 100% volunteer organizaiton commited to "Keep kids connected while fighting cancer."

I started this program in memory of a friend of mine named Brittany Hamilton, who I lost to neuroblastoma in 2010. Since launching our program in 2011 we have surprised nearly 300 pediatric cancer patients with ipads!! Our hope is that if they can keep in touch with friends & family while in the hospital, they won't be as lonely, and can have a fun distraction during long treatments. 

We succeeded in raising over $10,000 to buy iPads for brave kids in the Tristate area!! THANK YOU SO MUCH for supporting the Apple a Day Program with your contribution. The money will go directly to buying ipads, laptops, iTunes gift cards or other devices for kids currently battling cancer. All money raised will be deposited directly to our non-profit account. THANK YOU for helping kids stay connected while fighting cancer!
