Apple Tree Ridge flood damage

Our road has been damaged severely by this weekend's flooding! We are within the section that is closed "indefinitely" on highway 221. But as of now the damage is so severe that many families cannot even reach the highway! We have children we have no idea how we are getting to school, elderly people who at any time could have a medical emergency and have no way to get to help.  Not to mention the fact that people aren't going to be able to get to work. After assessing the damage today we will need at least 10 loads of gravel just to make it passable for everyone. But we really need to do some major work to prevent this from happening again!
