Amis des chevaux et de leur bien‑être,
Depuis 25 ans, Le Manège du Possible partage son savoir‑faire et son enthousiasme avec toutes les personnes cherchant un contact privilégié, respectueux et authentique avec les chevaux.
Installés en lisière de la Forêt de Soignes, à Watermael‑Boitsfort, nous avons la chance d’évoluer dans un cadre naturel exceptionnel que nous nous efforçons de rendre toujours plus accueillant, pour les chevaux comme pour les humains.
Aujourd’hui, nous portons un projet essentiel, en collaboration avec la Commune de Watermael‑Boitsfort et Bruxelles Environnement : investir dans une écurie moderne, respectueuse de l’environnement, et centrée sur le bien‑être animal, tout en offrant aux humains un lieu où s’épanouir au contact des équidés.
Pourquoi avons‑nous besoin de vous ?
Les Amis du MDP ont lancé un financement participatif pour soutenir un objectif qui nous tient particulièrement à cœur : offrir une retraite digne, sereine et confortable à nos chevaux âgés.
Dans le monde équestre, il est rare de garder ses chevaux jusqu’à la fin de leur vie.
Nous, nous avons choisi de le faire. Parce qu’ils ont passé leur vie au service de l’humain, ils méritent une vieillesse paisible, entourés, respectés et protégés.
Pour que Willy, Schatzi, Gribouille, Diddle, Senator, Pilou et Kiera puissent vivre dans les meilleures conditions, nous devons impérativement :
- multiplier les abris pour les protéger du soleil et de la pluie,
- éviter la boue en stabilisant les zones sensibles,
- installer des points de nourrissage adaptés,
- garantir un environnement sain, sécurisé et confortable.
Ainsi, nos seniors pourront vivre une vraie vie de troupeau, au grand air, avec une alimentation de qualité, au sec, et dans un cadre qui préserve leur santé.
Le projet en détail
- Construction de 3 abris (protection chaleur/pluie)
- Stabilisation des zones de nourrissage et de soins
- Installation de 3 abreuvoirs
- Rénovation des clôtures
Montants des investissements
- 1 000 € → 8 abreuvoirs automatiques + matériel de raccordement
- 2 800 € → dalles confortables et antidérapantes pour l’intérieur des abris
- 4 000 € → 2 abris de 12 m² (capacité : 4 chevaux)
- 4 400 € → 2 grands râteliers de prairie avec toit
- 5 000 € → stabilisation des zones à forte sollicitation (entrées d’abris, passages, pansage)
- 5 400 € → 2 abris de 20 m² (capacité : 6 chevaux)
- Tout montant supplémentaire → matériel pour rénover les clôtures (2 × 2 hectares)

Call for Donations – For a peaceful retirement of our horses
To all who love horses:
For 25 years, Le Manège du Possible has been sharing its expertise and enthusiasm with everyone seeking a special, respectful and authentic connection with horses.
Located on the edge of the Sonian Forest in Watermael-Boitsfort, we are fortunate to operate in an exceptional natural setting that we strive to make ever more welcoming, for both horses and humans.
Today, we are undertaking a vital project in collaboration with the Municipality of Watermael-Boitsfort and Brussels Environment: to invest in a modern, environmentally friendly stable focused on animal welfare, whilst offering people a place to flourish through contact with horses.
Why do we need your help?
Les Amis du MDP have launched a crowdfunding campaign to support a cause that is particularly close to our hearts: providing a dignified, peaceful and comfortable retirement for our elderly horses.
In the equestrian world, it is rare to keep horses until the end of their lives.
We have chosen to do so. Because they have spent their lives serving humans, they deserve a peaceful old age, surrounded by care, respected and protected.
To ensure that Willy, Schatzi, Gribouille, Diddle, Senator, Pilou and Kiera can live in the best possible conditions, we must:
- increase the number of shelters to protect them from the sun and rain,
- prevent mud by stabilising vulnerable areas,
- install suitable feeding points,
- ensure a healthy, safe and comfortable environment.
In this way, our senior horses will be able to live a true herd life, in the open air, with a high-quality diet, kept dry, and in a setting that safeguards their health.
The project in detail
- Construction of 3 shelters (heat/rain protection)
- Stabilisation of feeding and care areas
- Installation of 3 drinking troughs
- Renovation of fences
Investment amounts
- €1,000 → 8 automatic drinking troughs + connection equipment
- €2,800 → comfortable, non-slip slabs for inside the shelters
- €4,000 → 2 shelters of 12 m² (capacity: 4 horses)
- €4,400 → 2 large hay racks with a roof
- €5,000 → stabilisation of high-traffic areas (shelter entrances, walkways, grooming areas)
- €5,400 → 2 shelters of 20 m² (capacity: 6 horses)
- Any additional amount → materials to renovate the fencing (2 × 2 hectares)

- A harmonious, comfortable life that respects their natural needs
- Dry, secure spaces suited to their age

Oproep tot donaties – Voor een waardig pensioen voor onze paarden
Vrienden van paarden en hun welzijn,
Al 25 jaar deelt Le Manège du Possible zijn expertise en enthousiasme met iedereen die op zoek is naar een bijzonder, respectvol en authentiek contact met paarden.
Gelegen aan de rand van het Zoniënwoud, in Watermaal-Bosvoorde, hebben we het geluk te mogen werken in een uitzonderlijke natuurlijke omgeving die we steeds gastvrijer proberen te maken, zowel voor paarden als voor mensen.
Vandaag zetten we een essentieel project op, in samenwerking met de gemeente Watermaal-Bosvoorde en Leefmilieu Brussel: investeren in een moderne, milieuvriendelijke stal die het welzijn van de dieren centraal stelt, en tegelijkertijd mensen een plek biedt waar ze zich kunnen ontplooien in contact met paarden.
Waarom hebben we u nodig?
Les Amis du MDP hebben een crowdfundingcampagne gelanceerd om een doel te ondersteunen dat ons bijzonder na aan het hart ligt: onze oudere paarden een waardig, rustig en comfortabel pensioen bieden.
In de paardenwereld is het zeldzaam om paarden tot het einde van hun leven te houden. Wij hebben ervoor gekozen om dat wel te doen.
Omdat ze hun leven in dienst van de mens hebben doorgebracht, verdienen ze een vredige oude dag, omringd, gerespecteerd en beschermd.
Om ervoor te zorgen dat Willy, Schatzi, Gribouille, Diddle, Senator, Pilou en Kiera in de beste omstandigheden kunnen leven, moeten we absoluut:
- meer schuilplaatsen bouwen om ze tegen zon en regen te beschermen,
- modder voorkomen door kwetsbare plekken te stabiliseren,
- geschikte voederplaatsen inrichten,
- een gezonde, veilige en comfortabele omgeving garanderen.
Zo kunnen onze senioren een echt kuddeleven leiden, in de frisse lucht, met kwaliteitsvoeding, in de droogte en in een omgeving die hun gezondheid bevordert.

- Bouw van 3 schuilplaatsen (bescherming tegen hitte/regen)
- Stabilisatie van de voeder- en verzorgingszones
- Installatie van 3 drinkbakken
- Renovatie van de omheiningen
Investeringsbedragen
- 1.000 € → 8 automatische drinkbakken + aansluitmateriaal
- 2.800 € → comfortabele en antisliptegels voor in de schuilplaatsen
- 4.000 € → 2 schuilplaatsen van 12 m² (capaciteit: 4 paarden)
- 4.400 € → 2 grote weideruiven met dak
- 5.000 € → stabilisatie van zwaar belaste zones (ingangen van schuilplaatsen, doorgangen, verzorgingsplaatsen)
- 5.400 € → 2 stallen van 20 m² (capaciteit: 6 paarden)
- Elk extra bedrag → materiaal om de omheiningen te renoveren (2 × 2 hectare)
