Appeal for Financial Support

We kindly ask for financial support for our friend Grzegorz , whose mother has been diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer. She now requires 24-hour care, as she can no longer walk, take care of herself, and suffers constant, severe pain.

Unfortunately, our friend lives and works in Ireland, while his mother lives in Poland, and he is the only family member who can take care of her. This has created a very difficult situation, as he had to leave his job in Ireland and travel to Poland to organize care for his seriously ill mother. She has spent a lot of time in hospitals, but her condition has worsened to the point where the doctors can no longer help her and have referred her to hospice care. Sadly, there is still a waiting list for a place in a hospice, which means our friend must stay with his mother and cannot return to work.

At the same time, he still needs to pay rent in Ireland and cover the high costs of frequent flights between Ireland and Poland. Since April this year, he has been traveling back and forth regularly to take his mother to oncologists, medical appointments, and treatments. Now he is forced to remain in Poland until a hospice place becomes available, and he has had to set up a hospital at home, purchasing medical equipment for his mother’s care.

To make matters worse, this is not the first tragedy our friend has faced recently. In October last year, his father-in-law had a serious accident which left him paralyzed. Our friend and his wife had to travel frequently to Poland to help care for him as well. Sadly, his father-in-law passed away in December 2024, and only a few months later, in April, another tragedy struck with his mother’s diagnosis.

The heavy financial burden, inability to return to work, and the illnesses of his closest family members have caused enormous stress. We sincerely ask for your support to help our friend through this extremely difficult time. Thank you Robert Swierkowski Plumbing
