Mi nombre es Melba y, con profundo dolor, quiero compartir que mi hermano, Miguel Casellas, perdió la batalla contra la Esclerosis Lateral Amiotrófica (ELA) el pasado 6 de octubre. Su partida nos deja una tristeza inmensa, pero también el recuerdo de su fortaleza para enfrentar esta enfermedad tan dura.

Los costos de su atención en los últimos diez días que permaneció hospitalizado en terapia intensiva han dejado una deuda considerable con el hospital, que representa una carga muy difícil para nuestra familia. El tiempo para saldar esta deuda apremia.

Por ello, cada aportación, por pequeña que sea, será fundamental para poder cerrar este capítulo con tranquilidad y gratitud.

Agradecemos profundamente a todas las personas que acompañaron a Miguel en vida y a quienes hoy deciden hacerlo una vez más. De corazón, gracias por su apoyo y por mantener viva la solidaridad que lo sostuvo.

Solidarity Support in Memory of Miguel Casellas

My name is Melba, and with deep sorrow I want to share that my brother, Miguel Casellas, lost his battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) on October 6. His passing leaves us with immense sadness, but also with the memory of his strength and courage in facing such a difficult illness.

The cost of his medical care during the last ten days he spent in intensive care has left a considerable debt with the hospital, which represents a heavy burden for our family. The time to settle this debt is pressing.

For this reason, every contribution, no matter how small, will be essential to help us close this chapter with peace and gratitude.

We are deeply grateful to all those who accompanied Miguel during his life, and to those who choose to do so once again today. From the heart, thank you for your support and for keeping alive the spirit of solidarity that sustained him.
