Un dia después del cumpleaños de mi mama nos llamaron del doctor. Unas semanas anteriores mi mama se habia echo su mamograma anual. En el mamograma, algo no estaba bien, ella necesitaba una biopsia.

En la cita con el doctor el nos dijo que le encontraron cáncer. Al principio esa noticia nos causó mucha tristeza, pero nos acordamos que servimos un Dios poderoso, que nunca nos abandona. Hemos sentido la presencia de Dios durante toda esta experiencia. Gracias a Dios, pudimos ver a la cirujana y empezar a planear el tratamiento que mi mama va a necesitar. Sabemos que este camino no va a ser fácil pero tenemos fe que Dios le otorgará la victoria a mi mamá y ella va a poder contar su historia de como Dios la ayudó durante todo este proceso.

Amigos y familiares, durante este camino primeramente les pedimos sus oraciones. Mientras mi mama pasa por su operación y recuperación, no va a poder trabajar. Si ustedes pueden, les pedimos que la apoyen con donaciónes para que ella se pueda enfocar en su recuperación sin tener que cargar todo el estrés de lo financiero. Pero la necesidad más grande es la de sus oraciones. Muchas gracias y que Dios los bendiga.

A day after my mom's birthday, she received a call from the doctor. A few weeks prior to this, she had done her annual mammogram and unfortunately it cane back abnormal and she needed to get a biopsy.

The doctor said that my mom had cancer.

We initially felt alot of sadness at hearing the news but then we remembered we serve a powerful God who will never abandon us. We have felt God presence throughout this whole experience. Thankfully we have been and to a surgeon and started to plan for her treatment. We know that this journey will not be easy but we have faith that God will give my mom the victory and she will be able tell her story of how Hod helped her throughout this whole process.

Friends and family, we first ask you all for your prayers. While my mom goes through her surgery and healing process, she will not be able to work. If you can, we ask that you help and donate to her so she can focus on healing and not have to stress about the finances. But her greatest need is for prayers. Thank you and God bless you all.
