Apoyo para gastos veterinarios de Palestina

Palestina, nuestra gatita de 8 meses, volvió el otro día de dar un paseo con un golpe brutal en el costado, se le había estallado el diafragma y tenia los órganos desplazados a la cavidad torácica y requería de una intervención urgente para intentarle salvar la vida.

Yo no lo dudé y las veterinarias tampoco: teníamos que intentarlo.

Palestina ahora mismo está estable dentro de que hasta que no pasen 48horas postcirugía no saldrá del estado crítico. La cirugia fue mucho más complicada de los esperado y quizás necesitará una segunda cirugía y tendrá un postoperatorio largo...

Pero más allá de la parte más objetiva, Palestina tiene unas ganas BRUTALES de vivir y tanto sus mamás adoptivas (Neu, gata de 19 años que cuando llegó a casa la adoptó y le dio teta hasta los 6 meses! y Lluna, gata de 4, su madrastra) como mi hija y yo sentimos que pronto la tendremos ronroneando y siendo la mejor por casa.

Las que me conocéis (y las que no me podeis encontrar en redes como @verduritasfelices) sabeis que nunca falta espacio en mi casa o en mi corazón para animalitos extraviados y malheridos. Tengo 3 perras, 3 gatas, 12 gallinas y 2 burras, todxs adoptadas, soy vegana, etc. Y que por ellxs TODO. Así que estando malucha como estoy, recién mudada por la enfermedad y pagando un alquiler sola, os pido; por primera vez ayudita económica para costear todo esto.

En imagenes tenéis las facturas veterinarias, que de momento ascienden a 1718€, y como mínimos tendrá que estar 24 horas más ingresada, (hasta 282€ por 24h), más la medicación de regreso a casa y controles postop... Sin contar la eventual cirugía extra... ufff...

Iré actualizando sobre su estado y poniendo por aquí las facturas veterinarias.

Palestina resiste!

[ACTUALIZACIÓN]

Palestina volvió a casa de sorpresa cuando la fuimos a visitar la noche del lunes 16. La vieron lista y de golpe estabamos en la furgoneta con mi hija, las dos perras y Palestina de vuelta a casa. La llegada fue estresante y teniamos que prepararle un recinto pequeño y cerrado donde no pudiera saltar.

Paso buena noche y sigue cada día mejor y más fuerte. Esta bastante tranquila porque ademas de la medicacion pautada lleva un parche de fentanilo xd

He bajado los costes veterinarios por los cambios ^^

Palestina, our 8-month-old kitten, came back the other day from a walk with a brutal blow to her side. Her diaphragm had ruptured, and her organs had been displaced into the thoracic cavity, requiring urgent surgery to try to save her life.

I didn’t hesitate, and neither did the veterinarians: we had to try.

Right now, Palestina is stable, but she won’t be out of critical condition until 48 hours post-surgery. The surgery was much more complicated than expected, and she may need a second one and a long recovery period...

But beyond the more objective part, Palestina has an immense will to live, and both her adoptive moms (Neu, a 19-year-old cat who took her in when she arrived home and nursed her until she was 6 months old! and Lluna, a 4-year-old cat, her stepmother) and my daughter and I feel that soon we will have her purring and being the best cat around the house.

Those of you who know me (and those who don’t can find me on social media as @verduritasfelices) know that there’s always room in my house and my heart for lost and injured animals. I have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 12 hens, and 2 donkeys, all adopted. I’m vegan, etc. And for them, I do EVERYTHING. So, despite being in bad shape myself, recently moved due to illness and paying rent alone, I’m asking, for the first time, for financial help to cover all of this.

In the images, you can see the veterinary bills, which currently total 1718€, and at a minimum, she will need to stay 24 more hours in the hospital (up to 282€ per 24 hours), plus the medication to take her home and post-op check-ups... not to mention the possible additional surgery... ugh...

I will keep updating on her condition and sharing the veterinary bills here.

Palestina, stay strong!

[UPDATE]

Palestine came home as a surprise when we went to visit her on the night of Monday the 16th. They saw her ready and suddenly we were in the van with my daughter, the two dogs and Palestine back home. The arrival was stressful and we had to prepare a small, closed enclosure for him where he couldn't jump.

Have a good night and continue better and stronger every day. She is quite calm because in addition to the prescribed medication she has a fentanyl patch xd

I have lowered veterinary costs due to the changes ^^
