Apoyo de Emergencia

Hi, my name is Gerania Mata. I have 4 children. I am from Mexico and I have been working for CTUL (Centro de Trabajadores Unidos en Lucha), for more than 10 years. For years I have fought for equal pay. I have organized many workers to know how to defend their rights. I have developed their leadership and brought their voice into a movement in a world where the rich always gain too much at the cost of poverty and misery in our communities. During the Retail Cleaning Campaign at CTUL, I organized many workers to go on strike, and after years of effort and continuous struggle, they won a change. Now they have formed a union where more than 600 workers have benefited.

I came to CTUL like many workers because of injustice and wage theft, but I learned that if we don't fight, there is no change. I have motivated many to fight for a change in their workplaces.

I write this because I need support from the community. Right now I'm going through some financial needs. I ask for your support - if you can donate any amount, I would be very grateful.

He organizado a muchos trabajadores para que defiendan sus derechos. He creado liderazgo en ellos y puesto su voz en un movimiento donde los ricos siempre ganan demasiado a costo de pobreza y miseria en nuestras comunidades. Durante la campaña de limpieza que tuvimos en CTUL, organicé a muchos trabajadores para ir a huelgas, y después de años de esfuerzo y lucha continua, ellos ganaron un cambio. Ahora ellos formaron un sindicato donde se beneficiaron más de 600 trabajadores.

Yo llegué a CTUL igual que muchos trabajadores por injusticias y robo de salario pero aprendí que si no luchamos no hay cambio. He motivado a muchos a luchar por un cambio en su trabajo.

Escribo esto porque necesito apoyo de la comunidad. En estos momentos estoy pasando algunas necesidades económicas. Pido tu apoyo - si puedes donar cualquier cantidad yo estaría muy agradecida
