Con un corazón lleno de cariño y esperanza, queremos compartir con ustedes la situación desafiante que está atravesando el Dr. Francisco Cadillo, un esposo cariñoso, padre ejemplar y amoroso, un abuelo consentidor y juguetón, un amigo fiel, un ser querido y respetado médico y profesor que ha dedicado 40 años de su vida al cuidado de la salud. En estos momentos, se encuentra librando una batalla contra las complicaciones derivadas del COVID y la neumonía.

En este momento tan difícil, la familia ve la importancia crítica del tratamiento ECMO como la única esperanza para poder salvarle la vida. Este tratamiento es esencial para evitar fallos en sus órganos y representa la clave para su recuperación. Sin embargo, es un tratamiento sumamente costoso y solo está disponible en otros países como Colombia o México. Nos unimos como comunidad a través de esta campaña en GoFundMe con el objetivo de brindar apoyo financiero a la familia de Don Francisco, pues el costo del tratamiento, adicional a los gastos médicos a los que se ha enfrentado la familia luego de tenerlo el hospital por más de dos semanas exceden los $300,000.

With a heart full of affection and hope, we want to share with you the challenging situation that Dr. Francisco Cadillo is facing, a loving husband, exemplary and affectionate father, indulgent and playful grandfather, a loyal friend, and a beloved and respected doctor and professor who has dedicated 40 years of his life to healthcare. At this moment, he is battling complications arising from COVID and pneumonia.

In this difficult time, the family recognizes the critical importance of ECMO treatment as the only hope to save his life. This treatment is essential to prevent organ failure and represents the key to his recovery. However, it is an extremely costly treatment and is only available in other countries such as Colombia or Mexico.
