Hola me llamo Patricia y estoy recaudando fondos para Carlos, mi sobrino. En marzo, Carlos sufrió un grave accidente de motocicleta en Michoacán, México, que lo dejó inconsciente y tuvo que ser trasladado de urgencia al hospital. Carlos fue intubado, sufrió una lesión cerebral traumática y sufrió múltiples fracturas en la mano izquierda. Actualmente, Carlos no puede hablar, tiene movilidad limitada y solo puede expresarse con la mirada.

Carlos es un joven trabajador de 22 años que siempre cuidó de quienes lo rodeaban. Tiene un increíble sentido del humor y una risa que iluminaba cualquier espacio. A Carlos le queda una larga vida por delante y muchos sueños y metas por cumplir.

Su familia recibió recientemente la noticia de que tiene acumulación de sangre y otros posibles líquidos en el cerebro. Necesita un procedimiento lo antes posible para extraer estos líquidos, ya que es muy serio y puede poner el peligro su vida. Tras el procedimiento, Carlos aún tiene un largo camino por recorrer para recuperarse, que incluye fisioterapia, terapia del habla, visitas al médico, medicamentos, etc.

Estoy organizando esta recaudación de fondos para ayudar a su familia con los gastos previstos para el procedimiento, la hospitalización y muchos otros gastos pendientes. My name is Patricia and I am raising funds for Carlos, my nephew. In March Carlos was in a serious motorcycle accident in Michoacán, Mexico that left him unconscious and had to be rushed to the hospital. Carlos was intubated, suffered a traumatic brain injury and his left hand suffered multiple fractures. Carlos currently is unable to speak, has limited mobility, and is only able to express himself with his eyes.

Carlos is a 22 year old hardworking young man that always took care of the people around him. He has an incredible sense of humor and a laugh that could light up the room. Carlos has a long life left to live, and many dreams and goals to accomplish.

His family recently received the news that he has blood accumulation along with other possible fluids in his brain. He needs a procedure done as soon as possible to get these fluids out as it is life threatening. After the procedure is done Carlos still has a long road to recovery that consist of physical therapy, speech therapy, doctor visits, medication, etc.

I am organizing this fundraiser to help his family with the expenses that are anticipated for the procedure, hospital stay and many other expenses that await.
