Apoyemos a Diana, Alejandro y Pedro en este difícil momento

En Abril de 2025, Diana, Alejandro y Pedro llegaron a Calgary con sus maletas llenas no solo de sus pertenencias más importantes, sino también de sueños, esperanzas y proyectos para construir un futuro mejor como familia.

Sin embargo su camino tomo un rumbo inesperado. Alejandro fue diagnosticado con cáncer en Mayo de 2025, una noticia que cambio profundamente la vida de esta familia. Desde el inicio de su tratamiento, Alejandro no ha podido trabajar, lo que ha significado una importante reducción en los ingresos familiares, mientras continúan enfrentando los desafíos emocionales, físicos y económicos que acompañan esta enfermedad.

Actualmente, Alejandro se encuentra en la unidad de cuidados paliativos, donde Diana su esposa y Pedro su hijito de 6 años permanecen a su lado, rodeándolo de amor, fortaleza y compañía en cada momento.

Por esta razón, queremos invitar a toda la comunidad latina y a todas las personas que deseen brindar su apoyo a unirse a esta causa. Cualquier contribución económica, sin importar su monto, ayudará a aliviar parte de la carga financiera que enfrenta la familia y les permitirá enfocarse en lo más importante: acompañar a Alejandro y compartir tiempo juntos durante esta difícil etapa.

Let’s Support Diana, Alejandro, and Pedro During This Difficult Time

In April 2025, Diana, Alejandro, and Pedro arrived in Calgary with suitcases filled not only with their most important belongings, but also with dreams, hopes, and plans for building a better future together as a family.

However, their journey took an unexpected turn. In May 2025, Alejandro was diagnosed with cancer, a life-changing diagnosis that profoundly impacted their family. Since beginning treatment, Alejandro has been unable to work, resulting in a significant loss of household income while they continue to face the emotional, physical, and financial challenges that accompany this illness.

Alejandro is currently receiving care in a palliative care unit, where his wife, Diana, and their 6-year-old son, Pedro, remain by his side, surrounding him with love, strength, and companionship every day.

For this reason, we would like to invite the Latino community and all those who wish to help to come together in support of this family. Any financial contribution, regardless of the amount, will help ease some of the financial burden they are facing and allow them to focus on what matters most: being with Alejandro and cherishing time together during this difficult chapter.
