I’m Lucia Ibarra, and I’m asking for help for Tony (Maria Antonia). She is my colleague and close friend—we have been working together since 2023.

Tony is a kind and generous person who is deeply loved by many in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. She has always been there for others, offering support and compassion whenever it was needed. Now, she and her family are going through an incredibly difficult time.

Maria Antonia’s son, Ruben Alejandro Rojas Olivas, has started developing symptoms of Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP), a serious condition that causes extremely low platelet levels and puts his health at significant risk.

Ruben is currently hospitalized at Centro Médico, where he is receiving platelet transfusions (A+) and specialized care. The medical expenses are rapidly increasing, and Tony and her husband, Julio, are doing everything they can to ensure Ruben receives the treatment he needs. The costs of hospitalization, medications, transfusions, and ongoing care have become a heavy financial burden.

All funds raised will be used directly to cover Ruben’s medical expenses, including hospital bills, treatments, medications, and any additional care he may need during his recovery. The funds will be given directly to Maria Antonia (Tony) and her family to support these urgent needs.
