Apoyemos a Migdalia en su lucha contra el cáncer

Nuestra amada y querida Mimi, (Migdalia Gutiérrez Forero), de 61 años de edad, en Noviembre 2023 fue diagnosticada con Cancer de Mama luego del método de Biopsia e Inmunohistoquimica: CARCINOMA DUCTAL INVASOR BIEN DIFERENCIADO DE MAMA IZQUIERDA, y requiere recibir tratamiento de Quimioterapia, cada 21 días, al menos por 8 meses (necesita hasta 8 sesiones en total por el momento). Posteriormente debe ser intervenida quirúrgicamente para realizar Mastectomía Radical, y lamentablemente no tenemos un seguro que pueda cubrir todo el proceso.

Tras mucho esfuerzo, arranco la 1era Quimioterapia el 22 de Diciembre de 2023 y el próximo viernes 12 de De Enero de 2024 corresponde la 2da sesión... Migdalia se encuentra estable, en la espera de continuar su tratamiento cuanto antes, y asi evitar mayores complicaciones.

Hemos evaluado todas las posibilidades para afrontar esta situación, pero todo esto implica una serie de costos médicos que son excesivamente altos, teniendo en cuenta la situación tan desfavorable de Venezuela, y a pesar de juntar nuestros esfuerzos como familia no podemos solos. Por esta razón, acudimos por este medio, para unir fuerzas y así recaudar fondos para llevar a cabo todo el tratamiento y posteriormente la intervención quirúrgica, y lograr tener éxito.

Para dar una idea del panorama, solo el medicamento (TRASTUZUMAB) está en 1800USD, teniendo en cuenta que la administración de la Quimioterapia es cada 21 días...

Actualmente estamos en trámites por el Instituto Venezolano de Los Seguros Sociales, que suministran algunos medicamentos, pero no siempre tienen todos en stock.

Tenemos fe en que Migdalia podrá vencer el cáncer una vez más, en el 2008 fue intervenida por el mismo diagnóstico pero en la mama derecha. Gracias a Dios, pudo vencerlo, pero desafortunadamente el cáncer volvió a tocar la puerta.

Ondasetron 8 mgr (1 amp)

Doxorrubicina 50 mgr (2 amp)

Ciclofosfamida 500 mgr (2 amp)

Fluorouracil 500 mgr (2amp) Arrepitant 125/80 mgr Tab (1caja)

Filgastrin 300 mcg (5amp) Eritropoyetina 30.000 uds (1 amp).

Our beloved and dear Mimi, (Migdalia Gutierrez Forero), 61 years old, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in November 2023 after the Biopsy and Immunohistochemistry method: WELL-DIFFERENTIATED INVASIVE DUCTAL CARCINOMA OF THE LEFT BREAST, and requires chemotherapy treatment every 21 days for at least 8 months (up to 8 sessions in total for now). She will then need to undergo a Radical Mastectomy, unfortunately, we do not have insurance that can cover the entire process.

After much effort, she started her first chemotherapy on December 22, 2023, and the next session is scheduled for Friday, January 12, 2024. Migdalia is stable and waiting to continue her treatment as soon as possible to avoid further complications.

We have evaluated all possibilities to face this situation, but all of this involves a series of medical costs that are excessively high, considering the unfavorable situation in Venezuela. Despite our family's efforts, we cannot do it alone. That is why we are reaching out through this platform to join forces and raise funds to carry out the entire treatment and subsequent surgery, and achieve success.

To give you an idea of the situation, just the medication (TRASTUZUMAB) costs USD 1800, considering that chemotherapy is administered every 21 days.

Currently, we are in the process with the Venezuelan Institute of Social Security, which provides some medications, but they do not always have all of them in stock.

We have faith that Migdalia will be able to overcome cancer once again. In 2008, she underwent surgery for the same diagnosis but in her right breast. Thankfully, she was able to overcome it, but unfortunately, cancer has returned.
