Desde hace un tiempo, Alma Rodríguez no se sentía bien, pero al no contar con seguro médico, no pudo recibir atención en una clínica. A principios de diciembre, acudió a la sala de emergencias, donde le diagnosticaron cáncer de colon.

Desde el 15 de diciembre, Alma no ha podido trabajar. Es madre de una niña de 8 años y un joven de 17 y actualmente enfrenta grandes dificultades para cubrir las necesidades básicas de su familia.

Hoy, Alma está a la espera de una cirugía, mientras lucha por mantenerse fuerte para sus hijos.

Support Alma Rodríguez and her family

For some time, Alma Rodríguez had been feeling unwell, but without health insurance, she was unable to receive care at a clinic. In early December, she went to the emergency room, where she was diagnosed with colon cancer.
