¡Gracias por detenerte un momento! Soy Julius. Quienes me conocen de cerca saben que mi vida entera gira en torno a una sola cosa: Compartir. Compartir historias a través del cine, emociones sobre un escenario teatral, y conocimiento al enseñar. El arte es mi vocación, mi herramienta de servicio y mi forma de abrazar al mundo.

Hoy les escribo con el corazón en la mano, porque estoy frente a la oportunidad más grande y retadora de mi vida. Fui admitido para estudiar la Maestría en Industrias Creativas en Macquarie University en Sídney.

Es un sueño que a veces me cuesta creer, sobre todo porque es una institución que pertenece al Top 1% de las mejores universidades a nivel mundial (posicionada en el lugar #130 del ranking QS). Llegar hasta aquí ha sido un camino de noches sin dormir y muchísimo esfuerzo. Puse toda mi alma en el proceso de admisión y la vida me respondió con una de las mayores sorpresas que he recibido. Me otorgaron la International Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship de Excelencia Académica, y también la International Student Scholarship para estudiantes de América Latina.

Saber que una universidad de ese prestigio mundial revisó mi trayectoria, creyó en mi talento y decidió respaldarme de esta manera, me llena de una gratitud inmensa. Me recuerda que todo ha valido la pena.

Aunque estas dos becas son un milagro enorme que cubre la mayor parte de este gigante reto, la realidad de los gastos (los vuelos, el seguro médico internacional obligatorio y los costos de vida en Australia) supera mis posibilidades actuales. A pesar de todo mi trabajo y mis ahorros, no puedo cruzar esta línea de meta solo. ¡Necesito tu ayuda!

Este viaje nunca se ha tratado solo de mí. Y tampoco es la meta final. Es solo una de las herramientas más importantes que tendré. Mi compromiso inquebrantable es regresar a México al terminar mi posgrado para seguir compartiendo. Para seguir sumando a la vida de niños, niñas y jóvenes que puedan encontrar en el teatro y en el cine un refugio, una chispa de inspiración, una nueva forma de ver la vida. Es mi plan. Mi meta. Un universo totalmente accesible para niños, jóvenes y adultos. Quiero construir en nuestro país un espacio seguro donde el arte y la educación no estén condicionados por el nivel socioeconómico.

Si decides apoyarme, quiero que sepas que no solo estás pagando el pasaje o los trámites de un estudiante; estás invirtiendo en ese futuro espacio y en todas las personas que mañana encontrarán su propia voz sobre ese escenario.

Thank you for stopping by for a moment! I am Julius. Those who know me closely know that my whole life revolves around one single thing: Sharing. Sharing stories through film, emotions on a theatrical stage, and knowledge through teaching. Art is my calling, my tool for service, and my way of embracing the world.

Today I write to you with my heart in my hand because I am facing the biggest and most challenging opportunity of my life. I was admitted to study the Master of Creative Industries at Macquarie University in Sydney.

It is a dream that I sometimes find hard to believe, especially because it is an institution that belongs to the Top 1% of the best universities worldwide (ranked #130 in the QS rankings). Getting here has been a journey of sleepless nights and tremendous effort. I put my whole soul into the admission process, and life responded with one of the greatest surprises I have ever received. I was awarded the International Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship for Academic Excellence, as well as the International Student Scholarship for Latin American students.

Knowing that a university of such global prestige reviewed my trajectory, believed in my talent, and decided to support me in this way fills me with immense gratitude. It reminds me that everything has been worth it.

Although these two scholarships are a huge miracle that covers most of this giant challenge, the reality of the remaining expenses (flights, mandatory international health insurance, and living costs in Australia) exceeds my current possibilities. Despite all my hard work and savings, I cannot cross this finish line alone. I need your help!

This journey has never been just about me. And it is not the final goal either. It is just one of the most important tools I will have. My unwavering commitment is to return to Mexico after finishing my postgraduate degree to continue sharing. To continue adding to the lives of children and youth who might find a refuge, a spark of inspiration, and a new way of seeing life in theater and film. That is my plan. My goal. A completely accessible universe for children, youth, and adults. I want to build a safe space in our country where art and education are not conditioned by socioeconomic status.
