Hello, my name is Teresa Barraza. My siblings and I are requesting your help to raise funds to cover the medical treatments for our youngest sister, Dinora Barraza that lives in El Salvador.

On August 10, 2024, our joyful and active little sister’s life was turned upside down when a huge tumor was found in her pancreas. She has been hospitalized since then and so far, five surgeries have been performed and she was recently informed that she needs a sixth surgery. Due to the size of the tumor, her other organs were compromised and has complicated her recovery.

Dinora is only 21 years old. Whenever she could, she helped in the activities her local church hosted. She loves going to church and is full of hope that she will be able go to church again when she gets better.

At her young age, she has dedicated her young life to care for her aging parents. She paused her last year of high school when our father had a stroke and became wheelchair bound. She took care of our grandfather until he passed away. She was there when our mother became ill.

Our family is no longer able to afford the medical treatment our sister needs and were are asking for your help.

Hola, mi nombre es Teresa Barraza. Mis hermanos y yo solicitamos de su ayuda para recaudar fondos para cubrir los tratamientos médicos de nuestra hermana menor, Dinora Barraza, que vive en El Salvador.

El 10 de agosto de 2024, la vida alegre y activa de nuestra hermana pequeña dio un vuelco cuando le encontraron un enorme tumor en el páncreas. Ha estado hospitalizada desde entonces y hasta el momento se han realizado cinco cirugías y recientemente le informaron que necesita una sexta cirugía. Debido al tamaño del tumor, sus otros órganos quedaron comprometidos y ha complicado su recuperación.

Dinora tiene sólo 21 años. Siempre que podía, ayudaba en las actividades que organizaba su iglesia local. Le encanta ir a la iglesia y tiene la esperanza de poder volver a ir a la iglesia cuando se mejore.

A su corta edad, ha dedicado su joven vida a cuidar de sus padres ancianos. Hizo una pausa en su último año de escuela secundaria cuando nuestro padre sufrió un derrame cerebral y quedó en silla de ruedas. Ella cuidó de nuestro abuelo hasta que falleció. Ella estaba allí cuando nuestra madre enfermó.

Nuestra familia ya no puede pagar el tratamiento médico que nuestra hermana necesita y estamos pidiendo su ayuda.
