Apoya a Angelo en su lucha contra el cáncer

Hoy nuestras vidas dieron un giro, después de varios exámenes y visitas médicas, nos dieron el diagnóstico que nadie está preparado para escuchar, Angelo se enfrenta a la lucha contra el cáncer de orofaringe. Si bien, el nunca ha sido de las personas que piden ayuda, sabemos que la carga emocional y financiera del tratamiento va a hacer abrumadora. Como su esposa, estoy decidida a hacer todo lo posible para apoyarlo.

Angelo fue diagnosticado con cáncer de orofaringe (ubicado en la parte posterior de la lengua), en Noviembre 2024 y nos toca comenzar este camino de quimioterapia y radiación. Aunque esta enfrentando este viaje con una fuerza increíble, su tratamiento por la ubicación del tumor será bastante delicado.

Como muchos saben, en Diciembre 2021 nos mudamos a los Estados Unidos con nuestros dos hijos. La distancia de amigos y familiares hace que este viaje ya difícil sea aún más difícil con la tensión financiera de los gastos adicionales y los costos de vida diaria.

Actualmente vivimos en la ciudad Panamá City, Florida, lamentablemente nuestras opciones están bastante limitadas en esta ciudad, por esta razón nos vemos en la necesidad de trasladarnos temporalmente a la ciudad de Miami, en donde será atendido y tratado Angelo, específicamente en la Universidad de Miami.

Help Angelo in his fight against cancer

Today our lives took a turn, after several tests and doctor visits, we were given the diagnosis that no one is prepared to hear, Angelo is facing the fight against oropharyngeal cancer. While he has never been one to ask for help, we know that the emotional and financial burden is going to be overwhelming. As his wife, I am determined to do everything I can to support him.

Angelo was diagnosed with oropharyngeal cancer (located at the back of the tongue), in November 2024 and we have to begin this path of chemotherapy and radiation. Although he is facing this journey with incredible strength, his treatment due to the location of the tumor will be quite delicate.

As many of you know, in December 2021 we moved to the United States with our two children. The distance from friends and family makes this already difficult journey even more difficult with the financial strain of additional expenses and daily living costs.

We currently live in Panama City, Florida, unfortunately our options are quite limited in this city, for this reason we find ourselves in the need to temporarily relocate to the city of Miami, where Angelo will be cared for and treated, specifically at the University of Miami.
