We named this girl Aponi, which means butterfly. She has an incredible will to live and an amazing spirit. Aponi went through Surgery and over a month in a vets office before we could get her into the foster home we had waiting for her. Aponi is still going through daily bandage changes and additional testing was done where it was discovered that she had MRSA. All this has been incredibly expensive but we made a promise to save Aponi and find her a forever home. Aponi wears custom padded boots that her foster mom makes her and has a stroller so she can go for walks without hurting her stumps. Once healed we hope to have Aponi fitted with prothetics so she can be a normal puppy at less than a year of age. Aponi loves people despite what one of them did to her. Aponi will get her happy ending, we will make sure of it. Will you be a part of that??
