'Apollo's Violet' - Short Film

Hello !

We are a group of 2nd Year Film Production students at the University of Salford, and we would like to introduce you to our short film concept 'APOLLO'S VIOLET'.

Summary: 'When a deceitful young man accuses her mother of adultery, an emotionally sheltered girl must rise in adversity to clear her name and uphold her dignity".

This film aims to be an emotionally charged and visually complex period drama, using flowers as a rhetorical device to build a rich world intertwined in a story which takes narrative inspiration from classics such as 'The Tenant of Wildfell Hall', 'North & South', or 'Jane Eyre'.

In order to bring this project to life, we will need help raising funds for locations, props, cast, travel and catering etc. If enough money was raised we would also like to put some towards marketing and distribution to film festivals.
