Financial Support for Apollo's Chemotherapy

Hi, my name is Tabitha. If you know me, you also know Apollo (aka Smelly or Old Man Smelly). My husband and I adopted him almost five years ago, and he has been my shadow and best friend since he sat on my feet for pets inside the crowded hallway at animal control.

Apollo was recently diagnosed with an aggressive Mast Cell Tumor after visiting the emergency vet for a ruptured mass on his side. He was given a year or less to live by his oncologist. Our goal is to keep him comfortable and feeling well for whatever time he has left. I felt a major surgery would be too invasive and negatively affect his quality of life.

His first appointment is 4/5, and he will see the oncologist every six weeks for a physical exam and lab work. At the same time, we will administer the chemotherapy medication at home three times a week.

Funds raised will go towards his chemotherapy medication and the other numerous medications (steroids, antibiotics, allergy medication, NSAIDs, sedatives and OTCs) he needs to keep him feeling good. We're not sure how much time we have left with him, but we want to make sure he is our silly old man who loves plants and Arkansas until the end.
