Hello Everyone,

My name’s Apollo Rojas.  I'm a product of grace, a husband to a beautiful and wonderful woman, a father to two of the most amazing little girls to ever grace God's green earth (this, of course, is subjective, but...it's true :), and a rapper.  Yes, a rapper.

As you may be able to tell from my video, I love to rap.  As a matter of fact, I wrote my first rhyme when I was twelve and have been writing ever since.  Rapping is one of those things that I've been consistently passionate about, ever since the first time my ears tasted the sounds of poetry over beats (even more so, when my preteen self discovered his ability after putting pen to pad).  To me, there's something uniquely special about being able to string words together to form a creative and intricate composition to express myself in a very personal way. This kind of special is way beyond hobby status; it's a passionate love for the art.

Now, with all that being said, I have an amazing opportunity to make this lifelong dream come true by working with an established and well respected music production company.  But, I can't do it on my own.  I need your support to launch this Apollo mission.  Your kind generosity will afford me the opportunity to finally record my first official project.   This is something that I've been dreaming about since I was a kid.

Now, I’m evidently no longer a child, but that's a good thing, because with age, and a most gracious transformation, comes wisdom.  My desire is not to be famous or rich.  My desire is to minister to people with what I believe is a God given gift.  I want to create a sonic legacy where my words can both encourage and provoke thought.  I want to make people wrestle with their perception of reality to the point where they may be led to question if what they think they know to be true is in fact true. I want to do this by putting out positive lyrically driven music.

I'm humbled by your consideration to co-labor with me in this endeavor.  But, this is not meant to burden you.  It's okay if you cannot support financially, but please support through prayer and by forwarding this request to everyone that you know.  This way, I may be able to reach as many people as possible and hopefully reach my goal.

What your support will help me accomplish:

1.  Actual Producers working with me.  I will have  professional guidance throughout the process. I won't be alone on an island (aka my living room) with this project. I will have the kind of experienced wisdom necessary to get the best out of me. This is invaluable and something that I cannot obtain if trying to do this on my own.

2.  Production sessions with a team of producers working alongside me to create beats to fit the mood and messages of my songs.  Every track will be tailor made for me and my sound.

3. Recording time with professional equipment to enable me to get the cleanest vocal recordings (this is VERY important). I will be assisted by professional engineers who will help me navigate through the process of laying down my vocals.

4. Mixing of my songs to ensure that every element of the song is in perfect positioning with relation to each other.  Every instrument/sound needs to be equalized in order to create a perfect harmony.  This is one of the more, if not the most, important phases of producing a song.

5. Mastering my songs, which is the equivalent to putting icing on the cake.  This is the part of the process that will thicken the whole mix and give the songs the Oomph that it needs to sound radio ready.

6. Become a Better Botanist - This will hopefully lead me to a greater field, where I can plant and water many seeds :)
