Hi my name is Sophie and I am raising money to help pay for our family puppy Apollo to get life saving surgery . Apollo is an American Akita he was born in November 2022. Sadly  when I took Apollo for his second vaccination they detected pulmonic stenosis a condition which means his heart is working very hard and will shorten his life down to 6-9 months. The surgery needed is a Balloon Valvuloplasty preformed by a specialist from England who comes over to Northern Ireland. Unfortunately because this is a pre-existing condition he was born with, our insurance won’t cover it . Absolutely heartbroken and with very little time on our hands to try and get enough money for the surgery we appreciate every bit of help given. It means the absolute world to us to get this surgery for Apollo. My granda passed away in October 2022 Apollo is his dogs bloodline and it really made us feel like we had a part of him back in our life. This is my sons first puppy a lifelong friend for him to grow up with and hopefully this is an experience we are not robbed of. This surgery will give Apollo the ability to live a normal life to be strong and play without any physical disadvantages otherwise it will be less than a year we will have him . We are so lucky that this is an option so every bit of help is needed and appreciated Thankyou ❤️
