Apollo saved me from a rattle snake bite

Hi, Apollo is three years old and full of life. Last night I went out to my car to look for something; as always, Apollo was by my side. It was getting dark, and as I reached out to open the gate, Apollo put himself between myself and a baby rattlesnake that was getting ready to lung at me. He got bit instead of me. Unfortunately, a few months back, Apollo needed surgery to remove an obstruction from his digestive system. This surgery cost us $14,000. We maxed out our credit cards and even took out a loan to pay for it. Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.
