“The Project” is a group of young athletes, who in 2014 got together to practice Figure Skating. The team is made up of 21 athletes and 3 federated technicians/choreographers, strongly linked to the sport and the training of young people. “The Project” already has an 8-year track record in international skating competitions in the Show and Precision discipline with highly prestigious results (especially the title of quartet world champions in 2017). The group is a regular presence on national and European podiums. This group is the current four-time national champion, having also won 7 international podiums in the last 8 years, which demonstrates the commitment of “The Project” to represent Portugal and figure skating at the highest level. Recently, in May 2022, they were National Champions in the Large Groups discipline in the National Show and Precision Championship, and consequently qualified for the European Show and Precision Championship, which will take place between the 6th and 10th of July in Italy. As it is a sport not subsidized by the federation, “The Project” need all the support that is possible to obtain, to achieve the objective of representing Portugal in the European Championship. Thus, a fundraising campaign was launched through the GoFundMe Platform. We count on you!
“The Project” é um grupo de jovens desportistas, que em 2014 se juntaram para a prática na modalidade de Patinagem Artística. A equipa é constituída por 21 atletas e 3 técnicos/coreógrafos federados, fortemente ligados à modalidade e à formação de jovens. “The Project” tem já um histórico de 8 anos em competições internacionais de patinagem na disciplina de Show e Precisão com resultados altamente prestigiados (com destaque para o título de campeões mundiais de quartetos em 2017). O grupo é presença assídua nos pódios nacionais e europeus. Este grupo é o atual tetracampeão nacional, tendo também conquistado 7 pódios internacionais nos últimos 8 anos, o que demonstra o empenho dos “The Project” em representar Portugal e a patinagem artística ao mais alto nível.

Recentemente, em maio de 2022, foram Campeões Nacionais na disciplina de Grandes Grupos no Campeonato Nacional de Show e Precisão, e, consequentemente, apurados para o Campeonato Europeu de Show e Precisão, que se irá realizar entre o dia 6 a 10 de julho em Itália. Por se tratar de uma modalidade não subsidiada pela federação, os “The Project” necessitam de todo o apoio que for possível obter, para concretizarem o objectivo de representar Portugal no Campeonato da Europa.
Assim, foi lançada uma campanha de angariação de fundos através da Plataforma GoFundMe. Contamos consigo!
