Eden short film

Hi, my name is Mykah Obrigewitch. I was born and raised in Medicine Hat, and from the age of 9, I’ve been captivated by film and storytelling. Coming from a small rural town, breaking into the film industry always felt like an impossible dream, but I refused to let that stop me.

Now, I’m taking the leap and producing my very first independent short film. This project is more than just a film; it’s a form of art designed to challenge perspectives on everyday life. It invites viewers to step into the shoes of someone they may never have considered, offering a fresh lens on the world around them.

Independent filmmaking comes with its challenges, and I’m seeking support to bring this vision to life. Every contribution, big or small, goes directly toward production costs, feeding the cast and crew, locations, permits, art design, festival submissions, and ensuring this story is told the way it deserves to be.
