Grandpa Joe
Donation protected
On July 4th, 2019, the Mosqueda family suffered the devastating and heartbreaking loss of Gasper Joe Mosqueda. At the age of 71, Joe lost his battle to liver cancer far too soon, and leaves behind the never-ending pile of broken hearts of his family and loved ones. Joe was a loving husband to wife Elizabeth for 51 years, who devoted most of her time to caring for him during his illness. He is a father to 2 daughters, and 1 son, a grandfather of 13, and great-grandfather of 5. Joe was the backbone of our family, our hero, our role model, and a father figure to all of his grandchildren and most of his loved ones. There are not enough words to describe how much he meant to his family, but if you knew him, or know us, then you know how extremely we love him and how much we already miss him. 2 years ago, Joe and Elizabeth lost their youngest daughter and grand-daughter to a violent murder. With the loss of their daughter, they took in and care for the young children she left behind. Amongst custody battles and the adoption process of their 6 year old orphaned grandson, they were left little time to care for themselves and prepare for the unthinkable, leaving them without life insurance and never-ending medical bills. Joe and Elizabeth give everything to their family, and never ask for anything in return. In their honor, we are asking for help with the funeral costs and arrangements that need to be made in order to give our Grandpa, the man we love most in the entire world, the remembrance and memorial he deserves. His service will be held July 19 @ 2 p.m. at Peers Lorentzen Funeral home in Tulare. Any donations would be immensely appreciated at this time of great need in order to relieve some stress and financial burden off of our grandma Elizabeth so that she can properly mourn the love of her life. We thank you for your prayers and thoughts as we take this time to grieve the earth-shattering loss of an amazing Husband, Father, and GRANDPA.
