Hi my name is Electa I am the mother of a 5yr old little girl who was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia a bone marrow failure disorder on October 15, this has been so life changing, I have been let go from my place of employment, as I spend 3-4 days a week at the hospital while Harley receives Platelet transfusion and blood transfusions… Harley’s twin sister is thankfully a match and we are moving quickly towards a bone marrow transplant with a date of December 22. I am thankful for this option for our little family… however I cannot afford to drive back and forth without any source of income. I will soon be moving into the hospital with Harley as I have to be there 24/7 through chemo and transplant. But life doesn’t stop nor do the bills or other three children I have at home.
