It is extremely relatable that some points in our lives we need a helping hand. Coming from a family without a lot of money I have done the best I can for my two children.
My first born Sebastian, he is almost 2 years of age, fun loving and always smiling. Unfortunately we have found out our baby boy needs surgery. Sebastian has had a fluid build up in his ears for about a year now. It started as ear infections, endless doctor visits, staying up all night playing with his hair until he fell asleep. Until now where little Sebby is having extreme difficulties in hearing. In one ear my child cannot hear a thing. In the other we believe he can here a very muffled sound.
Sebastian's development is deteriorating. At his age he should be able to speak some words, copy the things we say, be more interactive. This full of life little boy is becoming less interactive because he cannot communicate. He will smack his head on the floor and walls to relieve the pressure and cry relentlessly.
My amazing family is coming together to put whatever money they can towards the surgery. Unfortunately we are having to go through the public system and the wait time can be anything from 1-4 years. Saint John of God hospital can provide the surgery for $2,625.00
This will stop his pain. This will help my little boy be able to learn to talk. Walk properly and just generally make his life improve.
I am not asking anyone to go out of their way to help. But any desperate mother would be the same in this situation. If you can spare a dollar or a couple to ease the expense for my family, it would actually mean a new life for my child and the sooner we can have the procedure done.
