Sean needs surgery

We’ve set up this GoFundMe with the permission of our sweet friend Sean Hankins who is in need of our help. Sean recently tore a tendon in his arm in a highlining accident. The injury requires surgery as soon as possible before more scar tissue can develop. He has been able to schedule surgery this Thursday, Oct 19; however, Sean does not have insurance and the cost of the procedure is $4,800.00.

Over the last several years, Sean has faced so many personal difficulties but has continued to show up as an incredible community member and father to his child. Sean does so much for the communities he’s a part of like Breathe Festival and WU Slack and is an incredible friend. He also relies heavily on his body for his livelihood and ability to care for himself and his child. Sean will be the first to admit that he often struggles to ask for help, but he needs us to show up for him. If you have the means, please consider helping Sean with his medical bills.
