Aphrodite Salon Rebuild from Car Accident
My heart is broken. I can’t even put into words how I am feeling right now. My heart goes out to my employees, their families, and everyone that has been effected my the accident. My salon had an underage drunk driver crash through the front door on December 3rd. He has no insurance and a suspended license. He ran a stop sign and processed to hit a minivan holding a mother and her baby girl. Thankfully this happened when my salon was closed and no one was injured. The truck crashed through the doorway and continued through a connecting wall that is home to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting center.
Myself, 7 other girls, and our favorite sidekick Mr. Bill Ammons are now out of work because of this traumatic event. Aphrodite Salon is now damaged beyond my financial abilities to replace all that was destroyed. I am a small town business owner who would like to stay in this historic building once the repairs are done. I have built up my salon over the past three years and have put my blood, sweat, and tears into it. I am so proud of what my salon is today. I will continue to pour my heart into this place, but I am at the point of asking for help. With the help of your donations we will be able to replace the items inside the salon that were damaged. We will need a new station, new retail area, an entire reception area, and replace all of the commissioned boutique items that were destroyed.
Any amount, big or small, will be greatly appreciated by the entire salon family at Aphrodite Salon here in Kelso, Washington.
