Our mom is a resilient fighter who has always preferred to face challenges quietly with a smile. As a single mother, she admirably raised three strong-willed teenagers, guiding us into adulthood with love and unwavering support. Now, it's our turn to support her. In January, she received the devastating diagnosis of stage 4 endometrial cancer, a shocking blow to our family. Undeterred, she has courageously undergone six cycles of chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments. Her next battle is a major surgery aimed at combating this relentless disease. Due to the chemotherapy, she now struggles with significant neuropathy in her hands and feet, causing a loss of sensation that impacts her daily life. To ensure she can maintain her independence safely, there are critical home improvements that must be made. Our mom has always been the type to prioritize others' needs over her own, often neglecting her own well-being in favor of helping those around her. Now, it's time for us to rally together and prioritize her.
