Famine has started in Chepang settlement in the remote southern village of Dhading district of Nepal. The people are forced to live in hunger as they do not even get groundnuts and Gittha Bhyakur in the forest. There are 350 families living in this Chepang settlement. Everyone's situation is the same. Everyone's stove has stopped burning.

नेपालको धादिङ्ग जिल्लाको दक्षिणी विकट गाउँमा रहेको चेपाङ वस्तीमा भोकमरी शुरु भएको छ । जंगलमा कन्दमुल, गिठ्ठा भ्याकुर समेत नपाएपछि धादिङका चेपाङ भोकभोकै बस्न बाध्य छन् ।गाउँमा भएका युवा काम खोजिरहेका छन् तर निषेधाज्ञाका कारण पाउन सकेका छैनन् । यो चेपाङ वस्तीमा ३ सय ५० परिवार बस्छन् । सबैको अवस्था उस्तै छ । सबैको चुलो बल्न छाडेको छ । त्यसकारण, Nepalese Association of Victoria ले यस समुदायका लागि खाद्यान्न सहयोग गर्न तपाईंको सानो ठूलो योगदानको लागि अनुरोध गरिरहेको छ।
