We are Apex Racing - a team of passionate and hardworking students from Athlone Community College under the patronage of Longford and Westmeath Education and Training Board (LWETB), who will be representing Ireland at the STEM Racing World Finals in Singapore this October.

STEM Racing is one of the world’s largest student STEM competitions, challenging teams to design, build, and race miniature Formula 1-style cars while also managing engineering, branding, sponsorship, and project management to a professional standard.

After months of dedication and hard work, we placed 3rd in the National Finals, securing our qualification to the international stage. In doing so, we became the first ever team from LWETB to qualify for the STEM Racing World Finals. We were also awarded the Sponsorship & Marketing Award at Nationals and were nominated for Best Portfolios.

Reaching the World Finals comes with significant costs, including travel, accommodation, competition fees, car manufacturing, and other essential resources. We are raising funds to help make this journey possible.

Any support you can offer will directly contribute to helping us compete internationally and represent our school, LWETB, and Ireland at the highest level. Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to Singapore.
