Happy New Year to the Apex community and beyond! My name is Katey Velarde, and I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of the Johnson family. Mark, Stacey and their son Jacob have been hit with some incredibly devastating medical news, and need to make difficult decisions regarding Mark’s care. This will ultimately result in the loss of family income. The hope is to raise enough money to allow the family to meet their deductible and cover some critical medical supplies required for Mark’s prolonged surgery recovery. The Johnson family has deep roots in the Apex Middle School and community at large, and I am praying our village can come together to support this incredible family.
