Apex Baseball Academy Fundraiser

What is the purpose of our program? Our program was established to address all of the problems that other travel programs in our area have.

1. We treat all players equally. There is no player who receives greater attention than the others. Our players' life skills are just as crucial as their baseball ability.

2. Our program keeps in touch with our players all year long. Once the season is complete, we continue to communicate with you. Our members are always conversing in various group conversations and playing online games with one another. This is a family affair, not a corporate transaction.

3. Our guys are treated as though they are young adults. We'll tell them what they need to know, not what they want to hear.

4. Players must demonstrate that they can handle the commitment required by our program. Players that can't keep up or fit into our program are cut. The same is true in the opposite direction. Players who don't think the program is right for them should search elsewhere. We're not going to be bitter about it. In the end, we want what is best for the player.

5. We're not going to add someone to our rosters at random. Players must have enough talent and upside to hang with their potential club. We are not going to add a player to our squads merely for the purpose of adding a player to our rosters.

6. We charge our players based on the product they are purchasing. Every dollar invested by the parent is returned to their child. There should be no program taking in $45,000-$75,000 for each team. They may reinvest a tenth of that in the team.

7. During the winter, we practice twice a week indoors, just like other programs. The winters are heavily focused on hitting and pitching. We will be focusing significantly on fielding as the weather warms up. We also do S&C with Mark Cinelli throughout the winter. Mark was the S&C coordinator for the Pittsburgh Pirates and the San Diego Padres in the past.

8. During the spring, summer, and fall, our program operates similarly to other programs. We play our league games on certain weeks and our tournaments on other weeks. Our teams travel outside of the state to look at the competition in other areas of the country. As a result, our teams become closer and have a more enjoyable experience during this time.

9. When the time comes, we do video reviews with each player on their hitting, pitching, and fielding. If we execute our job as instructors correctly, players should be able to teach themselves. Drills are useless if the problem cannot be identified.

10. Although our program has fewer teams than most, we make sure that participants of all ages are acquainted. We also have our more experienced players assist our younger guys. This contributes to the long-term culture of our program.
