Australian Deaf Athletes to Taiwan

Queensland deaf athletes Jamie Howell (QE2 Track Club) and Niamh Colvill (Cairns Athletics) have been selected in the Australian Deaf Team for the Asia Pacific Deaf Games (APDG) to be held on 3-11 October 2015 in Taoyuan, Taiwan.

Both girls have represented Queensland Athletics at Junior and Open National Championships and currently hold Athletics Australia Junior Deaf Female Australian records in various events.

Each athlete selected for the Australian Deaf Team is required to contribute $4400.00 to participate in the APDG2015.

Jamie and Niamh would be greatly appreciative of any financial assistance in helping them achieve their dreams of representing Australia at an international sporting event.
