Fire Leaves Family Homeless and in Need

Donation protected
On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, tragedy struck when a fire destroyed the home of a beloved multi-generational family. Fire, smoke and water damage has left them with nothing but the clothes on their backs. This home held decades of memories—three generations under one roof, sharing life, love, and support. Now, everything is gone.
Fortunately even their sweet dog Chewy made it out safely, but like the rest of the family, he’s now homeless too.
Heartbreakingly, the home was not insured, leaving the family with no financial safety net to recover from this unimaginable loss.
Among those affected is the grandson, Jaden, a dedicated YSU student who now faces the daunting challenge of continuing his education without the stability of a home or access to his belongings.
This GoFundMe aims to help the family begin the long road to rebuilding—finding temporary shelter, replacing essential items, and creating a path forward during this time of crisis. Every dollar will go directly toward helping them regain stability and hope.
Please consider donating to help this family get back on their feet. Any amount helps — and if you’re not able to give, a share can go a long way too. Together, we can show them that they’re not alone.

With heartfelt thanks!
