On May 10 a fire started in our apartment complex, destroying all of our belonging (clothes, furniture, electronics, food, valuables, and irreplaceable mementos). We are left with the clothes on our backs and our good friends to support us through this tough time. The goal isn’t enough to recover everything we lost, but to get us back on our feet.
