Apartment Mistook My Unit for a Deceased Tenant's unit
Donation protected
On March 4, 2025, I came home to a nightmare—my apartment had been completely emptied. Everything I owned was gone. My furniture, my clothes, my electronics, my child’s belongings—everything had been thrown away by my apartment complex.
I later found out that my apartment was wrongfully mistaken for the unit of a tenant who had recently passed away in the building. Instead of verifying anything, my apartment’s management sent in a contractor to clean out my home—wrongfully disposing of my entire life.
• They threw away my furniture, electronics, clothes, and personal items.
• They got rid of everything my child owned, leaving us with nothing.
• They admitted it was their mistake—but are now avoiding full responsibility.
Now, I am left to rebuild from scratch, with no help from the very people who caused this mess.
Why I Need Help
I was already planning to move in April, but because of this, I now have nothing left to take with me.
I am raising $20,000 to help replace what was lost and cover the unexpected costs of having to rebuild my life. This money will go toward:
✅ Replacing essential belongings (furniture, clothing, electronics, and personal items).
✅ Providing for my child (clothes, school supplies, and daily necessities).
✅ Temporary housing costs (since I have nowhere to go and management refuses to provide a hotel).
✅ Legal expenses (to fight for justice against the apartment complex).
