APARTMENT FIRE UPDATE

On April 3, 2023, my partner, Mateo & I had our apartment taken away from us by an accidental fire that began across the hall from our unit.

While no life was lost, and for that, we will be eternally thankful, we did lose literally everything within the building. So did 11 other families and residents.

There has been a surreal outpouring of love …probably most humbling of all, the question “What Can I Do?” “What Do You Guys Need?”.

Well, fast forward one-month, we are in a new place and insurance has agreed to help us recover some of what was inside but unfortunately not all. Thankful in that regard as well.

We were asked to share any fundraising efforts. To help us rebuild, we’ve created a GoFundMe for those with the ability and desire to help us rebuild.

Once again, everyone. EVERY SINGLE ONE… Thank you for the love. This has probably been one of the most stressful periods of our lives, but day by day… we’ve been ok and are ready to move forward with grace and gratefulness.
