Apartment Fire Relief for Nora
Donation protected
On February 6, a gas explosion was triggered at a nearby construction site in San Francisco that burned multiple buildings, including my sister Nora's apartment. Thankfully, both she and her roommate were away at work at the time, but the apartment and all of their belongings were destroyed.
This apartment was Nora's home for nearly 5 years, and now she is left without a permanent place to live and only the possessions she happened to bring to work that day. Nora is incredibly generous and hard-working; she has always been so supportive of me and those she loves, and she has just suffered a devastating loss that now needs our support. Any amount that you can contribute will be helpful.
The fundraising goal is a preliminary estimate of what she will need to get back on her feet and may be updated as we get more information. Funds will go to replacing clothes, furniture, kitchen gear, food, and finding a new place to live. All donations will be given directly to Nora. If you live in the Bay Area and want to make direct donations of household items or other things, we will work to put you in contact.
