Apartment Fire - Camila

Our apartment in the East Village suffered a significant fire on Nov. 6. While everyone is safe now, there was severe damage to the apartment. Although all three of us lost some items due to the smoke and fire damage, the fire took place in Camila's room and she lost all of her belongings. On top of the financial strain of replacing everything and moving, Camila and her boyfriend were home at the time of the fire, sustained some injuries, and spent time in the hospital that night. 

This situation would be scary and stressful at any time, but it is even more difficult given that Camila is a current 2L at NYU Law balancing academics, extracurricular org involvement/ leadership, clinical work, and her job search for next summer. Camila is one of the hardest working people I know and we hope that any financial help we can get for her can make this situation a little less awful. We appreciate any contributions and I am happy to answer any questions!
