Hi, I am a single mother of a 12 year old Special Needs (Autism Spectrum Disorder) son...We have been living in our 1 bedroom Apartment in Lilburn, Ga for 27 months (since may 2019)...I am typically unable to take traditional jobs in my field (Clerical, Admin. Assistance, and Office Management) due to the severity of my son's condition...I was previously employed as a food delivery driver and worked hard as an essential worker through the beginning of the pandemic (March2020-August 2020)...in August 2020 shortly after my son's birthday our vehicle's transmission went out and the buy here pay here dealership repossessed the car, instead of fixing it. At that point we were subsequently unemployed...I found out August 4, 2020 that I had Covid-19 in addition to all the other things going on....We were unable to receive any help from unemployment during the pandemic. I applied for PUA in October 2020 and never received it, we are still currently in line for an appeal! I was grateful to reach out to rental help organizations that helped at times. As of July 1st 2021 our rent was totally paid up. However, it was time to renew our lease, Now my leasing office says that they pre-leased our apartment months ago without even giving us the option to renew if possible...now they have put us up for eviction!!! We officially have an court date for September 1, 2021 , if/when the judge orders we will have to be forced into the streets within 7-10 days after that...(estimated September 8-15, 2021)...I don't know what we are going to do!!! We don't have family help...my extended family has always been distant from each other...My mother is a 61 year old Stage 4 Congestinal Heart Failure Patient...we are in desperate need of a new place to call home. We greatly appreciate any help that can be spared to help us at this ruff time in our lives....Thank You
