Hi everyone,

My name is Amanda, and this is my sweet boy Louie. He’s 10 years old, and I’ve had him since he was just a tiny kitten. He’s truly part of our family - my kids and I love him so much.

Over the past two months, Louie has developed a severe eye condition that’s caused his eye to shrink and lose vision. Despite several vet visits, multiple medications, and doing everything I can to help him, his condition has worsened. The vet now recommends surgery to remove the eye to stop his pain and give him a comfortable, happy life with his other eye.

I’m a single mom of three children, working full time, picking up a part-time job on the side, and going to school full time - I’ve worked so hard to maintain high honors, and with Christmas right around the corner, this unexpected expense is overwhelming. I’m not someone who normally asks for help, and honestly, I’m nervous to even put this out there but Louie means the world to us. I just want to make sure he’s not hurting and that he can enjoy the years he has left surrounded by love.

The surgery, testing, and medication are estimated to cost $1200.00 I don’t want to ask for all of it because I know that’s so much to ask for…

Any amount, no matter how small, would help us so much. Every dollar will go directly toward Louie’s care and recovery.
