Buen día a todos.

Esta colecta de fondos es para apoyar a la familia de nuestro querido amigo Luis Mario, quien desafortunadamente falleció en la ciudad de Vancouver hace un par de días.

Mario estaba lejos de casa y todos aquellos que tuvimos la dicha de conocerlo queremos apoyar de alguna forma a su familia en estos momentos tan difíciles.

Mario fue un amigo y compañero extraordinario, lleno de vida y que siempre brindaba una alegre sonrisa. Era de esas personas que lo hacen a uno sentir bienvenido siempre. Sin duda alguna dejó una gran huella en todos los que lo rodeaban.

Todos los fondos recolectados serán enviados directamente a la familia de Mario en México para que ellos puedan decidir cómo usarlos de la mejor manera y honrarlo.

We’re raising funds to support the family of our friend Mario, who passed away suddenly here in Canada.

Mario was far from home, and those of us who knew him want to make sure his family has the support they need during this incredibly difficult time.

I met Mario while we were staying at the American Backpackers. He was an amazing character — warm, funny, full of life, and the kind of person who made everyone feel welcome. If you met him, you’ll know exactly what that means. He left a real mark on the people around him.

All funds raised will be sent directly to Mario’s family, so they can decide what is best for them and how to honour him.
