On Tuesday March 3rd, my dad lost the most important part that keeps his business rolling, his truck. He was driving on I-84 in Connecticut when a woman carelessly crossed lanes and hit him on the passenger side, causing her car to spin and leaving my dads truck up in flames.
My dad, Tom Anzalone, is one of the most giving, caring people I know. He is the man that will take the shirt off his back to make sure you are warm. Speaking from experience, not just because I'm his daughter. He has saved my cats life twice with getting his surgery, helped my sister with any car situation, and is always there for his friends to help build, or fix anything. If you are in trouble, he is always there.
Anyone that knows Tom knows what this truck meant to him. This wasn't just his pride and joy, this was his employment, his only source of income. He owns his own company, Anzalone Transport. He's his only employee, with only one truck. Not having this truck means he is not able to make the money back to fix it.
We are looking to raise as much money as possible, and as soon as possible to help get his company started up again. Any bit will help! If you cannot donate, please help share this link and spread the word.
If you would rather use Venmo, mine is: @Caitlin-anzalone. This will go directly to Tom.
